Beach Excursions

The Orca Mist comes equipped with a twelve foot skiff and a 15 hp kicker. That means that the beach is just a few minutes away after setting anchor. The west coast of British Columbia has some of the most pristine and remote beaches found anywhere. I know where a few of these Gems are and love to visit them after heavy storms. That is when the beachcombing is at its best. Everything from Japanese glass balls to fishing floats can be found on these beaches.

Beachwood fires and warm breezes await you.

Plucking fresh Mussels off the rocks and steaming them over a fire is one of my favorite activities on the beach. The crashing surf and abundant wildlife will make this excursion one you will never forget.
